Adam is ranked amongst the world’s top corporate chefs – not bad for a kid who couldn’t decide whether to be a chef or a teacher. Happily, he achieved both goals.!
Adam began his chef’s apprenticeship in fine dining hotel kitchens and worked his way up through the ranks until he could set out on his own. In pursuit of professional development, Adam gained formal qualifications in pastry, charcuterie and butchery, food styling and food photography.
With more than 25 years in the industry, Adam has worked in restaurants, foodservice, retail, food manufacturing, marketing and sales. In the corporate sector, his past employers include Mars Australia, George Weston Foods, Suntory and Cerebos Foods, and the multinational Campbell Arnotts.
Adam's Key Business clients in Retail, Foodservice and QSR include Kraft Heinz, Obela dips, Frucor beverages, Ingham’s chicken, Nestle Professional and he is also is the menu developer for a major café chain doing menus for Canada, Middle East, Europe and USA.
Adam is a Research Chefs Association Certified Executive Chef (CEC), a member of Australian Institute of food scientists and a judge for Clubs NSW Chefs Table, TAA chef of the year, AHA Chef of the year, Le Cordon Bleu cooking school, Sydney Royal Fine Foods and more. Adam is also an active member of the Australian Culinary Federation and the Global Research Chefs Association. As well as lecturing at the University of NSW Kenvale College and an industry mentor for young chefs and working on solutions of mental illness and depression within the hospitality sector.
Exhausting right? Not for Adam! All of this has driven him to also include TV appearances and presenter roles to his repertoire including Chanel 10 and his own show "Talk'n Chef". Currently working on his first cookbook, centred on his love of pork, Adam is extremely excited to be working with the Carrera and Coachability teams to develop skills, product and capability in Food industries.
